Thanks for the suggestions. I Can't wait to see how you do with the PRP and I wish you a lot of luck with them.:)

Lina,

Good luck with the prolotherapy! Jumpers Knee is a tricky injury but it can definitely be healed and treated. An awesome physical therapy exercise for jumpers knee is also to do eccentric one-leg squats, like this guy. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY98htXP0O4

Without the weights, do 3 sets of 15 twice a day every day until you start feeling better. Then you can add weight. Wait until your knee's swelling goes down after the prolo shot, and then you can start the squats. Doing them after you get prolotherapy with maybe some light cross-friction tendon massaging (massaging horizontally across the tendon) is amazing for Jumpers knee.

I still have Jumpers Knee, but I've come a long way since the point that I was unable to walk. Right now I'm going to get checked out for platelet therapy in around a week, and you can be sure that I'm going to let you guys know all about it. (You have to keep coming back to see what happens!)

Garyk Patton,

Thanks for the nice comment, I really appreciate it.

Hello Rafi:

Nice blog!:)

I happen to have bad case of jumper's knee too! I will see prolo doc in three weeks, and am looking forward to it.

What kind of knee issue do you have now? Are you going to get prp or sugar shots this time 'round?

Ben,

Thanks for the compliment!

I agree that there were many extraordinarily intelligent people in history, but that doesn't mean I would give up on our generation!

Very informative blog. I did not know about those advancements in medicine, but its a good thing i found this site. Its pretty sad that most of our new technology has actually been known for years, like in this case back in the time of Hipocrates. You can't expect too much out of humanity after all, those philosophers were genius freaks of nature.
