Shneer,

I think you missed the point of the post. I wasn't saying that you shouldn't have proper workout form or a workout plan. I was saying sometimes we get too obsessed with knowing every little detail about working out, fat burning and muscle development when the best thing to get into shape is just to start doing it.

As for my knee injury. Yeah, for sure it was from running and jumping with a ton of weight on me.

OK, but how old is this guy? 18?

Workout without knowing what u r doing when you are 40 and 50 and your shoulders and hips will scream. I understand and appreciate your sentiment, but whether you are Mr. High Intensity like Doug McGruff or a volume guy like Pavel and his KB's, you need to put some thought, knowledge and planning into your workouts. By the way, maybe running or jumping with 20 or 40 kilos repeatedly as is likely in the army is what did in your knees. Don't listen to the naysayers... STRETCH. Go to http://www.kalindra.com/Dontigny/homeprogram.pdf for some GREAT physical therapist stretches... all free. Todah....
