I Pity The Fool Who…The Fitness Adviser Rants, Mr. T Style
Who doesn’t know of Mr. T and his catchphrase, “I pity the fool”? Well today, I’m going to rant about the people I pity. Here it goes:
[This is Rocky III, where Mr. T first rendered his famous line, "I pity the fool". My favorite part of the line is at the end where he says "Prediction? Paaiiiin." No matter how many times I've heard it, it makes me laugh every single time.]
I pity the fool who believes the “mainstream nutritionists” who claim that the best diet is low fat and high carb.
I pity the fool who thinks the best way to get into shape is doing long, boring cardio and not short burst interval training.
I pity the fool who doesn’t think walking is good for them.
I pity the fool who trains only for vanity, not realizing there’s more to life and more to being in shape than just looking good.
I pity the fool who isn’t open to listening to and seriously analyzing new ideas about fitness, health, and new medical advancements.
[Time for some 80's nostalgia! Here's a video about all the times Mr. T had to get knocked out to go flying in the A-Team. It starts getting really good at 3:30. I have to admit that I find this video hilarious!]
I pity the fool who makes excuses for why they can’t get into shape instead of taking a look at their lifestyle.
I pity the fool who doesn’t know the best way to spell adviser is with an E. (I’m talking to you, Yahoo and Bing.)
I pity the fool who can’t have a sense of humor about life.
I pity the fool who doesn’t understand that many things are just out of their control.
I pity the fool who believes everything they read.
I pity the fool who doesn’t have respect for their fellow man.
What fool do you pity?

Awesome post. Mr. T rocks. Here is one I thought of:
I pity the fool who blindly follows advice written in newspapers because “a study” said it was a fact.

I pity the fool who sees the word ‘Healthy’ on food packets in the supermarket and believes it.
I pity the fool who thinks they’re doing themselves a favour by drinking artificially sweetened drinks.
I pity the fool who thinks that strength is about lying down and lifting weights.

I pity the fool who doesn’t know that fitness, health, strength and agility are part of his patrimony, and who doesn’t know how easy it really is.
(I used to be that kind of fool.)
