Quick Weight Loss Centers, Rush Limbaugh’s Diet, and How To Burn Fat Fast

rushlimbaughpicThere’s only one thing that Rush Limbaugh is known for more than his political opinions, and that’s his ability to lose weight fast. In fact, he recently announced on his show that he has lost 80 pounds in 150 days using Quick Weight Loss Centers.

What’s Rush Limbaugh’s diet? Well, apparently it’s too complicated for him to explain, but has something to do with not combining different kinds of proteins at meals, taking supplements, and eating 1,500 calories a day. So if Rush isn’t sharing all the juicy details of his diet, how can you learn how to lose weight like Rush Limbaugh without spending thousands of dollars on a personal trainer to map out your day?

Learning From Rush’s Diet

Let’s analyze what we do know about Rush’s diet program:

1) His entire program focuses on his diet.

2) He’s taking supplements.

3) He’s not mixing proteins at meals.

Alright, so the first item about how his entire program focuses on his diet makes sense. Exercising is excellent for burning some extra calories, strengthening the body and keeping the heart healthy, but it’s not the main tool for fat loss. When you want to lose weight, you want to focus mostly on your diet. Don’t worry, we’ll go more into this in a moment.

When we look at the second item, we see that he’s taking supplements. In my opinion, this isn’t a bad idea, and I doubt it hurts to take a multivitamin or something of that nature to make sure you have all the nutrients you need in your body. The main thing is to stick to real vitamins like multivitamins, Vitamin C or zinc and to stay away from the “fat loss formula” products where you don’t know what they put in them.

The third item is not mixing proteins at meals. I’m going to ignore this one and assume that it’s a gimmick by Quick Weight Loss Centers to try and get people to think they have the “secret” to fat loss.

How To Burn Fat and Lose Weight Like Rush

Using our powers of deduction, we can assume that Rush’s ability to lose weight stems from:

1) His focus on his diet.

2) Making sure he gets all the nutrients he needs.

These two things are both critical for people who are trying to lose weight to understand. Exercise is important, it keeps you healthy, it keeps you young, and it feels good. But it’s not the ticket to fat loss. When you want to lose weight, you need to be completely focused on your diet, what you’re eating, and how much you’re eating.

The second thing we can learn from Rush’s diet is the importance of having the nutrients you need while you’re dieting. You can accomplish this by making sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, even while dieting, and to maybe take a multivitamin as well. Like I said before, the main thing is to take real vitamins like Vitamin C, zinc, or a multivitamin and not the “fat loss formula” items where you don’t know what’s in them.

Why You Shouldn’t Diet Exactly Like Rush

One of the problems with Rush is that it often seems that his crazy dieting plans are really just a gimmick for his show. What that means is that while he knows how to lose weight, he almost always puts it back on and seems to be adamant about not exercising or having any kind of moderation in his diets (either he eats a little or he eats a lot). If you’re interested in burning off your fat and keeping it off, then I suggest you diet like Rush, but in moderation. That means instead of trying to lose 4 pounds a week, try to lose 1 or 2 pounds a week.

It also means that instead of going on some sort of super diet, try changing your lifestyle to a healthier one that you can keep up. Eat less food and healthier foods, walk and exercise during the day, and expand your comfort zone by doing things you usually don’t do like sailing, hiking, or camping in order to boost your self confidence.

Maybe it won’t grab media attention like going on a “super diet” will, but it’s something that will keep you healthy and strong and last for a lifetime. Remember that in the end, while media fads come and go, you stay with your body, so choose the option that is most beneficial to you, and start living a healthier lifestyle.
